After graduating cum laude from the University of Bologna at the age of 23 with a degree in Foreign Languages, I have been teaching English to younger and older adults in state schools and in Università per Adulti courses since 1988.
I have also been working as a teacher trainer in a variety of courses, mostly as a contract professor for the University of Parma.
In addition, I am a textbook writer and I have published several English language learning books for secondary school students with different publishing houses, including Rizzoli and Mondadori.
Above all, I have a real passion for learning myself and I have never stopped studying. In 2013, I obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of Leeds in CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and Formative Assessment. In 2022, I obtained another MA degree with Distinction from Lancaster University, specialising in Language Testing. On 10th December this year, I will be attending a graduation ceremony at the same university in the UK to receive an award after successfully completing a one-year course in Second Language Acquisition.
In my free time, I play the piano and relax by swimming, playing tennis and skiing whenever I can.
